Air Quality Program
The goal of this program is to achieve and maintain reasonable levels of air quality to protect human health, safety and welfare and the National Ambient Air Quality Standards established through the Federal Clean Air Act. The department implements this goal by staffing ambient air monitoring and permitting sections.
