City of Irvine Green Building Program

The City of Irvine’s Green Building Program has developed criteria for building or remodeling homes or commercial developments to become “Green Certified.” The City currently sponsors three Green Building programs for Homes, Commercial Buildings and Apartment Developments.

The Green Building Program website provides visitors with guidelines, checklists, application forms and the Green Building Resource Guide. Also available is a list of the City’s current green projects and partner organizations. Through the Green Building Program, Irvine is creating environmentally sensitive, healthier developments for its residents, businesses and visitors.
