    Wyndham Hotels and Resorts recently released its plans to launch a line of uniforms for its hotel staff, which are made of polyester from recycled plastic bottles.

    When plastic bottles are recycled, they are chopped into plastic flakes.  The plastic is then melted down and spun into fabric, creating a soft polyester.

  • OH County Purchases Recycling Center


    In Ohio, Lucas County officials hope to save money with a recently-purchased recycling center in North Toledo, reports The Blade.

    By owning the property, the county will now be able to run the center itself, rather than paying to use a private facility.
