New San Diego Law Requires Construction Recycling

A San Diego law requiring that construction and demolition debris is recycled goes into effect today, according to The San Diego Union-Tribune.
The law mandates developers and do-it-yourself builders to pay a deposit that will be returned after proving that at least 50 percent of their debris has been recycled, reused or donated. Deposits range from $200 for small projects, continue …
