American Express Relaunches Members Project

The American Express Members Project is back, allowing cardmembers the opportunity to submit ideas for projects that make a positive impact on the world.

American Express has set aside $2.5 million to fund five projects, including $1.5 million for the winning idea. The contest officially begins on July 22, and you can submit a project until August 19.

Last year’s semi-finalists included several environment-themed projects, such as restoring National Parks and renewable energy development. The winning project idea was to provide safe drinking water to children in Africa.
