Resist Wasting Fuel

It is estimated that 5-15 percent of light-duty fuel consumption is used to overcome rolling resistance for passenger cars, according to the U.S. Department of Energy. Rolling resistance is the energy lost as a tire rolls under load. To increase resistancy:
- Keep tires properly inflated
- Purchase low-rolling resistance tires
- If you’re in the market for a new car, look for one that comes with LRL tires
