Scottsdale, AZ—June marked the debut of localized content on Microsoft Network’s Green channel, and a major component of this local content is a recycling search engine powered by Earth911.com.
MSN Green has partnered with Earth911.com to provide its visitors with actionable recycling resources. The recycling search engine allows consumers to find out where to properly dispose of over 250 products by providing their zip code. The database contains over 100,000 recycling, reuse and disposal locations throughout the U.S. and Canada.
MSN Green is also syndicating Earth911.com’s content on how/why to recycle or properly dispose everything from aluminum cans to used motor oil to electronic devices.
“We are excited to partner with MSN Green and bring local recycling solutions to its mainstream audience,” said Earth911.com President Jonathan Smith. “During a time when consumers are starting to evaluate the lifecycle of the products they buy, it’s great to see a brand like MSN providing information on where and why to recycle the products they already have.”
