National Environmental Education Week (EE Week) promotes understanding and protection of the natural world through students and teachers learning about the environment before Earth Day.
Over 900 schools, nature centers, zoos, museums and aquariums have pledged to implement EE Week activities. The theme of EE Week 2008 is Carbon Footprints.
Learn more about EE Week and how to get involved in your community. For more student environmental activities, check out Earth 911’s student section.
