Recycle Your E-Waste in the Twin Cities

Sony Electronics Inc. and Waste Management (WM) Recycle America are offering Minnesota residents the chance to recycle electronics for free on April 11-12 at five different sites.
Collection will occur from 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. both days, and is expected to be the largest in Minnesota history in honor of Earth Day.
Locations include:
- Shakopee—Canterbury Park Racetrack, 1100 Canterbury Rd. South
- St. Paul—Minnesota State Fair Grounds, 1265 North Snelling Ave.
- Blaine—National Sports Center, 1700 105th Ave. NE
- Eden Prairie—Grace Church, 9301 Eden Prairie Rd.
- Eagan (Saturday Only)—Ecolab Schuman Campus Eagan Building F, 655 Lone Oak Dr.
Participants who recycles an old electronic device will receive a discount for EarthFest, A Party for the Planet, on April 19-20 at the Minnesota Zoo.
Accepted items include:
- Televisions/Monitors
- Computers/laptops and accesories
- Fax Machines/copiers/printers
- DVD players/VCRs
- Cell Phones & PDAs
Business electronics will not be accepted, as well as microwaves and other household hazardous materials.
