California to Host Product Stewardship Workshops

The California Product Stewardship Council will be hosting a pair of workshops designed to educate the public about collection programs for batteries and fluorescent lamps in late April.

The full-day workshops will take place on April 29-30 at the California EPA Headquarters, 1001 I Street in Sacramento, in the Coastal Hearing Room.

Experts on battery and lightbulb product stewardship will present case studies and lessons from recycling programs around the world. They will then design pilot collection projects for California.
