Oklahoma Lawmaker Pushes for Paper Recycling in Capitol

Oklahoma Representative David Derby has added a recycling bin next to the trash can in his office, and he is now encouraging other representatives to do the same.

The Capitol already has paper recycling bins throughout the building, but none in individual offices. Representatives go through reams of paper when creating laws, and Derby wants to ensure that this paper ends up being recycled.

Derby is also encouraging state agencies to purchase more products made with recycled content.
