EPA Presents Multi-Cultural Three R’s Materials
by Earth 911 on January 30th, 2008
The EPA has developed a new publication to spread word about recycling, reduction and reuse among multilingual communities entitled Working Together For a Healthy Environment.
The publication focuses on explaining what the Three R’s involve and how they are tied together, as well as related terms such as composting and recycled content products.
The introductory paragraph is available in Spanish, Chinese, Vietnamese and Korean.
For those who speak English as a second language, the EPA has also developed a publication with lesson plans on the same terms entitled Teach English, Teach About the Environment.
