G4 TV and Earth 911 Promote E-waste Recycling at CES

Las Vegas, NV—It is fair to say that ‘green’ is the official color of the 2008 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. The lion share of the exhibitors are expected to focus on sustainability in gadgets and larger appliances, making this year’s event the premier ecotech central.

On that note, G4TV, a web-interactive resource for the latest must-have tech gadgets, web culture and video games, will partner up with Earth 911 to forge the Gcycle campaign. The drive will center on reducing e-waste by way of promoting the recyclability of gadgets and giving G4 TV viewers options for intelligently disposing of old or broken devices.

For those who can’t make the show in person, G4 will offer live consecutive night coverage of CEC, giving viewers a chance to learn more about gadget recycling via G4’s Gcycle booth on the show floor.
