Valpak Launches Text Service for Recycling Information

MoreThanWaste.com reports that the Web site recycle-more.co.uk has developed a system allowing anyone in the United Kingdom to receive text messages with recycling locations based on their location.

By texting the product to recycle and a postcode to 60060 anywhere in the UK, a reply message will notify you of the nearest site. The company says this is also a valuable tool for visitors to the UK who want to continue recycling on their trip.

For more information on the benefits of recycling, visit Earth 911’s Recycling page. To find where to recycle a product within the United States and Canada, use the Earth 911 recycling locator search at the top of this page.
