People look at me like I'm nuts for even asking about it. I live out in the country and it's such a beautiful area. There is quite a bit of litter on the back roads. LOTS of empty cans and bottles. Why no deposit on bottles? That would stop some people. Now they want to put a huge landfill nearby and there seems to be no way to fight these people. The polution and trash along the roadside is going to be even worse. Any ideas of where I can start to get people to recycle. A lot of my neighbors burn their garbage too and it's not just paper. People won't know what they had until it's gone. Shame shame Virginia! I lived southeastern PA for a couple years before I moved here and it was the same thing. Beautiful countryside but no recycling except in the populated areas.
