Market on Madison, KDLB Teaming Up for Recycling Event

The Dublin Courier Herald features information on this Saturday’s free “Fall Into Recycling” event sponsored by Keep Dublins-Laurens Beautiful.

The event will last from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with participants receiving a free tree seedling for their efforts. Accepted items include aluminum cans, newspaper, telephone books, magazines, clear or green plastic beverage bottles, household batteries and cell phones/batteries.

This event will also kick off Laurens County’s plastic beverage bottle recycling campaign for the county’s schools, which will raise money for school programs.
