Show Some Oven Patience

Every time the oven door is opened during cooking, the temperature drops 25-50 degrees. Not only is it wasting energy, but it’s messing up your cooking time. Need to see if your cookies are burning?
- Most ovens come with internal lights, so flip the switch and check through the oven window
- Use your oven timer
- If your oven is old and unpredictable, look into an ENERGY STAR oven; recycle your old one using Earth 911’s recycling locator
