The Nova Scotia Recycles Contest allows students of all ages to take action and promote waste reduction in their community with participation in recycling and composting programs. It is also designed to implement Nova Scotia youth in making the province a recognized leader in waste reduction.
The 2007 deadline for entries is December 3 and the contest is open to Nova Scotia students from grades P through 12. There are six different categories based on age groups, with each category corresponding to a different environmental contest.
