Best Buy & Future Shop Help Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
Marketnews reports that Best Buy and Future Shop stores in Canada will offer boxes for customers to recycle seven different types of electronics at no charge. Future Shop alone has 127 stores throughout Canada.
The featured electronics available for recycling include batteries, cellular phones, CD/MP3 players, CD and DVDs, portable DVD players and ink cartridges.
The program is in partnership with Greentec, a recycling service provider from Ontario. For more information on electronics recycling, visit Earth 911’s Recycling page.
