Bright Sparks Make Best Reuse of E-Waste For Art’s Sake

The Sydney Morning-Herald features the art of Allison Schutt, who takes discarded circuit boards and turns them into lamps and chandeliers because of the 3-D effect created when the boards are illuminated.

Schutt and her husband have been producing these lamps since 1999, and they have been displayed in galleries as well as TV programs like Big Brother.

The article also profiles Susannah Dwyer, who uses these boards as well as keyboard keys for jewelry including cufflinks, broaches and necklaces.
