Earth 911 Develops Beach Term Glossary

Even though beach season may be over for most of us, Earth 911 has compiled an extensive glossary of terms related to beach and water quality. We’ve taken all the complicated scientific definitions and simplified them so even the biggest surfer dude will understand.
This list was developed in conjunction with Earth 911’s sister site, Beaches 911. Beaches 911 is the site to visit for up-to-date beach water quality alerts and information on closed beaches. Know before you go with Beaches 911.
