The rose is the favorite flower of 85 percent of Americans.

When the roses or other flowers in your bouquet wilt, use them in a compost pile.

  • Dry the petals for potpourri
  • Use the water from the vase to water other plants
  • If you don’t have a compost pile, put them with yard recycling
