Boston is Seeing Green This Fall

LOS ANGELES - This fall, green is the color of the season. It’s time to make small, green changes that give back to the earth just in time for Organic Harvest Month in September.

To help Bostonians go green, Seeds of Change, a producer of premium organic food products and seeds, is inspiring people to take a bike or the train to reduce toxic emissions and select certified organic foods to promote sustainable growing practices. To plant the seeds of green living, Seeds of Change will also be infusing the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) Green Line with inspirational quotes and thoughts for ways to make changes in Boston.

Get on board and look for the following events in and around the Green Line in Boston:

• September 1st: “InspireChangeBoston.com” - will feature simple green tips, list of local events sponsored by Seeds of Change, plus much more

• Week of September 17th: Outside various subway stations along the Green Line, Seeds of Change will hand out free samples of their certified organic products such as chocolate bars and packs of produce and floral seeds, as well as brochures that include coupons for Seeds of Change products

• Weekend of September 22nd: Provide free rides on bike taxis from the following locations off the Green Line from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.:
  • Saturday, September 22nd:
    • Whole Foods Market, 15 Westland Avenue
    • Copley Station, 640 Boylston Street at 230 Dartmouth Street
  • Sunday, September 23rd:
    • Whole Foods Market, Charles River Plaza, 181 Cambridge Street
