National Christmas Tree Association
The National Christmas Tree Association (NCTA) strives to be one voice representing Christmas Tree professionals and growers, and promotes the use of Real Christmas Trees. More than 5,100 professionals support NCTA programs.
In the United States, there are approximately 500,000 acres of Christmas Trees growing at any given time—these trees supply enough oxygen for nine million people each day. Real Christmas trees provide many environmental and economic benefits. The NCTA is committed to educating the public on the many positive attributes of buying a Real Christmas Tree.
Partnership with Earth911.com
The NCTA joined Earth911.com in 2000 as a content partner of Earth911’s Annual holiday and Christmas tree recycling section.
Over the years, the NCTA has been working with Earth911.com to promote Christmas tree recycling to residents, government agencies, media and its membership. These promotion and education efforts have resulted in an increase in the number of Christmas tree recycling sites and web traffic each year.
