Valvoline and Earth911.com have developed a program licensing partnership. Valvoline motor oil products are branded with the Earth911.com website and 1-800-CleanUp hotline to find recycling locations for used motor oil throughout the U.S. and Canada.

According to the U.S. EPA, over 40 percent of U.S. oil pollution comes from the improper disposal of used motor oil by “do-it-yourself” (DIY) auto mechanics. One gallon of improperly disposed motor oil can contaminate one million gallons of freshwater.
