COMEDY CENTRAL has launched the Address the Mess pro-social campaign to show viewers easy ways to reduce waste, improve their lives and help revive the planet.
Address the Mess launched on August 13, 2007 with a Public Service Announcement (PSA) campaign designed to introduce the initiative and prompt a call-to-action to visit AddressTheMess.com.
The site features environment-themed videos with Comedy Central personalities, quizzes on your environmental footprint and content from a number of environmental resources.
Partnership with Earth911.com
Earth911.com was one of the founding partners of the Address the Mess campaign. In addition to licensing its recycling search engine so visitors could learn where to recycle electronics and other products in their area, Earth911.com provided expert information for the Address the Mess quiz to access carbon footprints.
